Softball, for girls these players will learn basic softball skills, fundamental teamwork concepts and Leadership Skills as well. Score and standings are kept for all teams. These are the games you’ll remember forever.

ESI offered in the softball season for girls ages 9 and 19, as well as inexperienced players of any age . The ESI teams is a large step up from any other leagues/teams in the progression through the various leagues and teams of ESI. The field in size from and batters will now hit off a pitcher from the opposing team. The field size has standard 60′ base paths with a 38′ pitching distance. If the pitcher struggles to throw strikes and walks more than 2 batters, their coach will step in and pitch to each batter that receives 3 pitched balls.

The purpose of ESI will be to introduce the players to real softball rules with very few limitations in play. Players will continue to build on what was learned in lower divisions with more practice to develop higher level skills in hitting, catching, throwing, and base running. Players interested in pitching will also experience their first introduction to pitching mechanics. More emphasis will be placed on rules and defensive strategy in softball. Coaches are not allowed on the field with the players during games. 9-10 ages is considered a semi-competitive division. Scores and standings will be kept, outs will count, and teams will participate in a divisional end of season tournament based on the results of the regular season.  

For girls ages 9 to 10. Teams are organized by ages, so 9-year-olds play only against other 9-year-olds, 10’s with 10’s, and so on. 

for GIRLS AGES 11-19. Teams are organized by 11,12,13-year-olds play together similar to a Middle school Softball team and 14,15,16,17,18 play together similar to a high school Softball team. 

Players ages, 19 -year-olds play together then after turning 20 they can tryout for the Caldwell adults slowpitch softball team which is a softball team organization that is in Caldwell, Idaho and surrounding areas. 

All youth players are required to play a minimum of 7 plays per half, ensuring participation and parity among the teams..
