Baseball

Baseball, for boys these players will learn basic baseball skills, fundamental teamwork concepts and Leadership Skills as well. Score and standings are kept for all teams. These are the games you’ll remember forever.

Baseball players ages 7-19 learn hitting and fielding fundamentals in a supportive team environment. Young athletes hit the ball from a batting tee which is height-adjusted for a level swing, batting in order through the line-up for the entire game.  Players must be 4 by 4/30 of the current year, no exceptions.  

For boys ages 7 to 10. Teams are organized by ages, so 9-year-olds play only against other 9-year-olds, 10’s with 10’s, and so on. for BOYS AGES 11-20. Teams are organized by 11,12,13-year-olds play together similar to a Middle school baseball team and 14,15,16,17,18 play together similar to a high school baseball  team. Players ages, 19 -year-olds play together then after turning 20 they can tryout for the Treasure Valley Invaders Baseball team which is a tackle football and baseball organization that is also in Wilder, Idaho and surrounding areas

BaseBall games are played at the Ustick Park fields and season runs End of May through End of June.  Practices are usually 2-3 times a week until games start then is reduced to 1-2 times a week.   BaseBall games can be played Mondays and Wednesdays or Tuesdays and Thursdays or Fridays and Saturday. Maybe on Saturday depending on how many teams are in the division. Teams will play 2-5  times a week.  

Coaches begin calling players in the middle of May.  If you do not received a call by the coach by the middle of May then please email elitesportsidaho@gmail.com

Equipment Needed - Players will receive a shirt and hat and will need to provide their own  baseball mitt.  Cleats and baseball pants are optional.    

Special Requests can be made for Coaches and Teammates, however there is no guarantees that the request will be granted.  

Immediate family members (brothers, sisters) will be placed on the same team depend on (AGE) unless otherwise requested
